OUR MISSION:

To provide a place for entrepreneurs, bloggers, businesses, photographers and lady bosses to connect and network with other local Lawrence creators.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER:

Amanda Gregory is a blogger found on the web at Somewhere Over the Camo.  Back in 2010, she found herself living thousands of miles away from her family, friends and her entire support system as a new wife to a United States soldier.  She started blogging as her outlet to keep everyone far away in the overall loop of her life.  Several moves later, a medical separation from the military, and an ever-growing family, Amanda and her family permanently settled in Lawrence.  Growing up just down the road in a Kansas City suburb, Amanda found herself driving to KC for blog related events and felt there was a need for creatives to collaborate in her own community... so she created Lawrence Lady Boss Project.

ABOUT LAWRENCE LADY BOSS PROJECT:

Lawrence Lady Boss Project was founded in February of 2019, with our first event being hosted in April of 2019 at KB & Co.  Once a quarter we put together a Networking Night Out event with the idea that everything is free and everything stays within the local lady boss community.  Each event showcases a venue, a photographer, tasty food, a boutique and so much more, with each event having its own unique flair.
