What is your goal for the next year?
My biggest goal is to reach out of my comfort zone! Nobody ever grew by staying in their comfort zone! I’m learning that it’s okay to put myself out there and get no response or a “no” response. The “yes’s” will come too!
Who has influenced you the most?
My uplines and teammates in both companies have been the most supportive and helpful throughout my journey. They push me to always do more and help me towards success. I also really appreciate my husband’s support in these ventures of mine.
What one piece of advice do you give to other business owners?
Do what works for you! Gather ideas and inspiration from others, but ultimately, it’s your business, so you have to do what feels right to you.
When you are not working, what are you doing?
I’m a middle school teacher in addition to these side hustles, and a mom of three. My jobs and my family keep me busy, but for recreation I love getting out and playing tennis!
What Lawrence hidden gem do you recommend everyone checks out?
We’ve only lived in Lawrence for less than two years, amid a pandemic, so we’re still discovering the hidden gems ourselves!
If you could change one thing about your business, what would you change?
Honestly, no! I love how much support and resources I get with each company. It’d be nice not to have to pay a monthly website fee, but other than that, I’m happy!
