LADY BOSS PROFILE

Meet Scout Nichols, the writer behind ScoutnStuff. A blog that is all about budget-friendly fashion and beauty! From thrifting, to sales, to designer dupes, Scout shares it all. "On my blog, I put together trendy outfits using items I’ve found at very reasonable prices. I aim to inspire all ladies to feel and look their best, even if they’re on a tight budget!"

What is your goal for the next year?

I would like to make more connections with local ladies/businesses. Since starting my blog, I’ve met several women and business owners that share the same interests as me. I’d love to attend more events with them, participate in giveaways, support their platform, and just make more friends overall! It’d be a win win for all of us!

Who has influenced you the most?

Definitely my mom! Because she was a single mom raising 3 kids, we didn’t always have a lot of money to spend on shopping sprees. We did our back-to-school shopping at thrift stores or Walmart. I used to be SO embarrassed..but now I’m incredibly thankful she taught me to express myself without going broke!

What one piece of advice do you give to other business owners?

Admire other businesses without questioning your own. There will always be a “more successful” person/business, but that doesn’t make you any less capable of achieving it too! Keep going.

When you are not working, what are you doing?

When I’m not blogging, you can find me at Z Hair Academy cutting and coloring hair!

What Lawrence hidden gem do you recommend everyone checks out?

Uplift Coffee Co., hands down. Try their chocolate chip muffins. You won’t regret it!!

If you could change one thing about your business, what would you change?

I don’t think I would change anything right now. ScoutnStuff has taken off so much smoother and quicker than I had envisioned at the start. I’m very happy with my growing platforms!
