Meet Heather Fiore, the owner of Free State Nutrition aka Heather Fiore, RD. As a Registered Dietitian, Heather provides Nutrition Counseling to people of all ages on a variety of topics. "I help people enjoy eating without guilt by empowering them to ditch dieting and learn how to trust their bodies again." Heather does this through a process called Intuitive Eating.
What is your goal for the next year?
My goal for the next year is to successfully market my new online Intuitive Eating program to the right people. It's meant to be a lower cost option for someone to guide themselves through the Intuitive Eating process.
Who has influenced you the most?
I had a dietitian mentor me early on in my career who also has a PhD. She is very smart and accomplished in her career. Even though we are not really in touch, she is the person I think about when I take steps in my career - am I making her proud? I hope so.
When you are not working, what are you doing?
I work out most days of the week. These days I am also in charge of PE for my kids. If I have any leisure time, I love to read and do jigsaw puzzles.
If you could change one thing about your business, what would you change?
I'd love to return to my office someday soon! But I'm very fortunate that my business can easily be done virtually.
